The Union Cycliste Internationale and Wings strengthen their partnership, renewing and extending the agreement for the provision of services for the UCI World Championships

On the eve of the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships, to be held on
Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of February in Dübendorf (Switzerland), the UCI,
cycling governing body, and Wings have concluded the agreement that will
bind them until 2023.

In a meeting held at the Hilton Zurich Airport Hotel, during the UCI
Management Committee, UCI President, David Lappartient, and the Wings
founding members, Laura Folchi and Carlo Petrozzi, have agreed to extend
their partnership for four more years.

With this agreement, Wings co-operation with the UCI, extends not only in
time, but also in the wide range of the services provided, thanks to the new
GetYourEvent platform.

Wings began its long collaboration with UCI in 2006, by providing
accreditation services for the Road, Cyclo-cross, Track, Mountain Bike and
BMX UCI World Championships. The cooperation has become richer over the
years with the management of seasonal accreditations for the Mountain Bike
World

Cup and BMX Supercross. Later, Wings has begun to provide services related
to access control and media management, by projecting and managing media
centres.

Recently, Wings started also to manage for UCI the VIP Lounges registration
and access systems.

UCI has been, since 2019, the first big International Federation to
simultaneously use more than one module of GetYourEvent, the new platform
designed and created by Wings for the centralisation of the services related
to the management of major events.

Wings also provides its services in cycling, to the European Cycling Union
(UEC), while, among other sports, in football since 2013, delivers
accreditation procedures for the Italian Football Federation (FIGC).
