Wings is proud to announce the successful outcome of its collaboration with the Republican Guard of Rwanda during the 2025 UCI Road World Championships.
This historic edition — the first Road World Championships ever held on the African continent — marked a milestone to which Wings contributed with a significant technological innovation.
In addition to the consolidated services provided for years to the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) — including accreditation management, logistical coordination of the press room and photographers, and hospitality for the VIP Lounge and Congress — the 2025 event was further enhanced by a new operational feature: the Rwandan Republican Guard adopted GYE Access Control, Wings’ proprietary app dedicated to digital gate management for accredited personnel.
Thanks to its integration with the GetYourEvent event management platform, the app ensured smooth, secure, and congestion-free access flows at restricted checkpoints, fully complying with Rwanda’s high security standards and contributing to the overall success of the event.
