The Grand Duke Henri of Luxemburg visits the Cyclo-Cross Worlds Accreditation Centre

A special guest has received today his accreditation for the UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championships, taking place in Bieles, Luxemburg, on January 29th and 30th.

His Royal Highness, the Grand Duke Henri of Luxemburg, visited today the accreditation centre of the event, hosted by the Sanem City Hall, withdrawing his badge.

The Grand Duke, who is member of the International Olympic Committee, after completing his accreditation procedure, spent quite a long time with the accreditation centre’s staff and volunteers, showing his interest for both the accreditation procedures and the upcoming World Championships, that will be the most important sports event organised in Luxemburg in the last 50 years.

Henry of Luxemburg is the second regent to whom Wings had the honour to deliver an accreditation, ten years after Albert II, King of Belgium who was accredited for the 2007 Cyclo Cross World Championships in Hooglede.
